(It's not a mmorpg. Every time you play a game, you and nine other people are separated into teams of five and battle each other. Games can be as short as 20 minutes but can last over an hour. You pick a character/champion(You can either save up IP, which you win from games, and buy a champion. A visual novel is kind of like a 'choose your adventure' kind of thing. Though some are just basically just a story where it just shows you the characters and what they do with little interaction. An example of the second one is 'Higurashi - When They Cry', it has very little human interaction, but it is a supernatural mystery game that treats you like a detective, so it evens out.
